Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the kitchens made?
The doors are made in Northern Ireland. They are then shipped to the cabinet manufacturers, based in the Midlands, where they are attached to the cabinets before being wrapped and sent out to you.
How will they arrive with me?
Each cabinet (base units and wall units) will come Pre-assembled, with the door already fitted to the cabinet.
They will be individually wrapped to ensure everything is as it should be. You will also receive a box with all your 'nick-nacks'. This will be all the screws, feet etc.
The handles will be packaged separately. We don't Pre-drill the holes for the handles as everyone wants them in different places...but we do sell a tool to help you.
PLEASE NOTE: The delivery will arrive with a driver. The driver may need assistance with unloading upon arrival.
Are the cabinets flat-pack?
All base and wall cabinets will arrive with you Pre-assembled with the door on. Any large units, such as larders, oven housing etc. will come flat packed. They tend to be very heavy and cannot be practically moved if they are assembled in advance.
How long will the kitchen take to arrive once I've ordered?
Most orders arrive within 2-3 weeks. As soon as you have ordered it will be queued for manufacture. As soon as we have a production date we will work back to give you a delivery date. We will keep you informed of any changes through the order.
We will also confirm the order the day before.
What quality are the kitchens?
Our door manufacturer has been given the Fira Gold product certification, giving you the peace of mind that the kitchen doors are built to the highest standard.
Our cabinets are all manufactured using the latest techniques using Egger boards, which are the industry standard in quality board production.
Can I upgrade to soft close drawers and doors?
There's no need! All our doors and drawers come with hettich soft close as standard.
Why? Because we believe in quality throughout our kitchens. Our doors and cabinets are manufactured to the highest standard, so why compromise right at the end by having the doors slam shut? We want you to be as proud of your kitchen as we are, so you can show it off to family and friends!
Do you sell sinks and taps?
We don't sell white goods, such as fridges, freezers, sinks and taps, but we would be more than happy to point you in the right direction when buying them.
What is the delivery charge?
We try to keep the delivery as simple as possible. That's why we charge a flat fee of £75 for anywhere in mainland UK. Even better than that, any order over £2,500 is free delivery.
Do you sell replacement doors?
We do, check out our replacement doors section or if you want a quote please call us on 02920 003884 where we'd be happy to help!
Are the units colour co-ordinated to the door?
Yes, the doors match the cabiinets as closely as possible in relation to the board manufacturer's range. Some high gloss doors have alabaster backs. The acrylic doors have silver backs (other than ultra gloss white and ultra gloss cream, that have matching backs).
Do you sell just kitchen doors or just kitchen cabinets?
Yes we do! We can supply any sized kitchen cabinet or kitchen door. We don't offer this facility forcabinets online but email us at email@example.com or call us on 029 20003884 and we'd be happy to help.
Are the products you use environmentally friendly?
The board used for the cabinets is harvested from renewable sources. Both Egger and Kronospan are members of the FSC Forest Stewardship Council.
Are your online payment systems secure?
This is the most important part of the business, as it concerns the 'customers trust in us' and our chosen supplier to handle the transaction confidentially.
What are your lead times?
On complete kitchens it is generally around 15/20 working days, any singular item is normally 5-10 working days. We try to beat these lead times on every order and are usually successful but we cannot guarantee this.
